........and Sophie, Mom and Grandmom are off to Rice's Flea Market in search of "finds"!!  After a quick stop for muffins....it is all business.....  The business of SHOPPING that is!  Just wait until Sophie sees all of the tables...AND all of the neat 'stuff'!   New STUFF. . . old stuff. . . great stuff and then some really WEIRD stuff!!  

In other words. . .a typical FLEA MARKET!!! 

What a fun way to spend a crisp fall morning.

Short A-Line Skirt
************
. . . . Sophie is wearing a fashionably short A-line skirt made of bone colored Ultra-suede fabric.  The front flap of the faux wrap-around skirt is embroidered with a trio of embroidered flowers and trailing vines. 

Handknit Turtleneck Sweater

. . . . . Paired with her "leather" skirt, Sophie wears a handknit turtleneck sweater that is patterned with a variety of beautiful shades of Seafoam green, dark teal blue, and bone.  


Embroidered Wool Felt Jacket

. . . . .Over her very perky outfit, Sophie wears a short wool felt jacket in a rich teal color.  It is in "real life", not quite as dark as pictured here. . .and is  a tad more green. The jacket is styled with a side wrap opening to echo the lines of her coordinating skirt.  A jaunty tassel accents the front snap closure. The front is accented with a small pocket, trimmed with green and embellished with an embroidered flower and vines.  Coordinated floral embroidery cascades over her opposing shoulder.  A braided tie crimps the jacket back to give a more tailored fit. 


Handknit Hat

. . . . . Sophie is wearing a jaunty beanie style hat handknit to match her sweater.  Embellishing the hat is a bow made of a strip of ultrasuede and braided yarn. . . . it is anchored with a vintage jadite button.

. . . . Sophie is wearing  bone colored crew socks that are accented with braided trim and a small tassel.  Her timeless penny loafers are the ideal touch to this classically cute ensemble!
